As a Kiln Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the ceramics production process, supporting the efficient operation of our kiln facilities. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the kiln operation, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, and assisting in the preparation and placement of ceramics for firing. You will collaborate closely with the production team to maintain high-quality standards while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

This is a fully Remote position, allowing you to work seamlessly from anywhere within the UK. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for both Shift 1 and Shift 2 as part of a rotational shift system. You will have the flexibility to manage your time effectively while contributing to our team's success.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate proficiency in ceramics and related materials.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Experience in assembly line work preferred.
  • Show adaptability to changing tasks and priorities.
  • Maintain high cleaning standards within the workspace.
  • Understand and practice health & safety awareness.
  • Capability in manual handling of materials.
  • Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Practice excellent time management skills.
