Founded by Craig Lilly and Jamie Walsh, who together bring over 40 years of experience working with some of the UK’s largest recruitment firms, and Richard Ng-Zeederberg, who brings 15 years of expertise in business growth, sales, and customer relationship management, Surch was born out of lived frustration.
In our own recruitment company, we experienced first-hand the pain caused by outdated and fragmented recruitment technology. Platforms were clunky, disconnected, and failed to serve both sides of the hiring equation. Businesses were wasting millions of hours and over £100 million annually in lost productivity due to inefficiencies in the hiring process. And worse, most platforms overlooked the very people they claimed to serve: the jobseekers.
We knew there had to be a better way.
That realisation sparked the creation of Surch. Over the past 12 months, we’ve been developing a platform designed to offer something fresh and different — technology that improves recruitment and workforce management while providing equal value to both employers and jobseekers.
