As a Hadoop System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimising our data processing frameworks. Your daily responsibilities will include monitoring Hadoop clusters, troubleshooting performance issues, and implementing best practices for data storage and retrieval. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure seamless integration and accessibility of data across various platforms. This role will have a significant impact on our data-driven decision-making processes, enabling us to serve our clients more effectively.

This is a fully Remote position, allowing you to work seamlessly from anywhere within the UK. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for Shift 1 and 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for Shift 2 as part of a rotational shift system. This remote role not only provides flexibility but also allows you to balance your personal and professional commitments while being part of a dynamic team.

Requirements

Proven experience in Cloud Computing technologies.
Strong background in Linux Administration.
Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques.
GSCEs (or equivalent) qualification.
A-Levels (or equivalent) qualification.
Degree (or equivalent) qualification.
