As a Hadoop System Administrator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our Hadoop ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities will include configuring and maintaining Hadoop clusters, ensuring data integrity, and optimising system performance. You will collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts to facilitate seamless data processing and storage solutions, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency of our operations.

This is a fully Remote position, allowing you to work seamlessly from anywhere within the UK. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for Shift 1 and 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for Shift 2 as part of a rotational shift system. Requirements

  • Proficient in Database Management, particularly with Hadoop.
  • Strong skills in Data Visualisation to present analytical findings effectively.
  • Experience in Linux Administration to manage server environments efficiently.
  • Possess GSCEs (or equivalent) and A-Levels (or equivalent).
  • A Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field is preferred.
