As a Gear Cutter, you will play a crucial role in our production team, responsible for the intricate cutting and shaping of gears to meet precise specifications. Your daily responsibilities will include interpreting technical drawings, operating CNC machinery, and ensuring the highest standards of quality control. Collaborating closely with engineers and fellow technicians, you will contribute directly to the efficiency and success of our projects, ensuring that our products meet rigorous industry standards.

This is a fully Remote position, allowing you to work seamlessly from anywhere within the UK. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for Shift 1 and 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for Shift 2 as part of a rotational shift system. This arrangement provides you with the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively while being part of a collaborative team.

Requirements

Demonstrated attention to detail in all tasks.
Proficient in blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation.
Experience with CNC operation and machine maintenance.
Familiarity with fabrication techniques and power tool safety.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively.
Knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding.
