As a Developer at X ACADEMY LTD, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software applications that enhance our educational offerings. Your daily responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement new features, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems. You will be expected to employ agile methodologies, ensuring that development processes are efficient and effective. Your contributions will directly impact the learning experiences of our students and help shape the future of education technology.

This role is On-site, requiring regular presence at the company’s location in Glasgow. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day). In this dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a talented team and engage in collaborative projects that make a meaningful difference.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Cloud Computing technologies.
  • Experience with Docker for containerization.
  • Strong skills in Python programming.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript for front-end development.
  • Proficient in Java as a programming language.
  • Experience with SQL Querying for database management.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control.
  • Understanding of C# programming language.
  • Experience with API Integration.
  • Knowledge of Agile Software Development practices.
