As a Jacquard Maker, you will play a pivotal role in our production team, utilising advanced techniques to create intricate fabric designs. Your responsibilities will include operating Jacquard looms, interpreting design specifications, and ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will collaborate closely with designers and other team members to bring innovative ideas to life, contributing to our reputation for excellence in the textile market.
This role is On-site, requiring regular presence at our location in London. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day). You will thrive in a dynamic work environment where your passion for fabric and design will be valued and nurtured.
Requirements
- Possess strong 3D Modelling skills to create detailed fabric designs.
- Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy in designs and production.
- Proficient in CAD Drafting to facilitate precise technical drawings.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Exhibit creativity to contribute to innovative fabric solutions.
- Possess fabric knowledge to select appropriate materials for designs.
- Skilled in pattern cutting to create templates for production.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during production.
