As a Haberdasher, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that involve the selection and sale of fabrics, trimmings, and other sewing supplies. Your daily responsibilities will include providing expert advice to customers, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring that our displays are attractive and well-organised. You will work closely with other team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customer engagement and satisfaction. Your role will directly impact the success of the store and contribute to our overall growth in the market.

This role is On-site, requiring regular presence at the company’s listed location. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day) for both Shift 1 and Shift 2 as part of a rotational shift system. This arrangement ensures you have the opportunity to collaborate with your colleagues while enjoying a balanced work-life dynamic.

Requirements

Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Possess solid fabric knowledge and understanding of various materials.
Experience in fashion buying or related retail roles is advantageous.
Hold GCSEs (or equivalent) as a minimum educational qualification.

Exhibit patience in dealing with customer inquiries and concerns.
Be punctual and reliable in attendance and work commitments.
