As a De-Commissioning Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient decommissioning of equipment and facilities. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough inspections, managing hazardous materials, and adhering to strict compliance regulations. You will work closely with a dedicated team, collaborating to implement best practices and maintain a high standard of safety and environmental protection. Your attention to detail will be vital in identifying potential issues and ensuring that all decommissioning activities are executed to the highest standards.
This role is On-site, requiring regular presence at the company’s listed location. The standard working hours for this role are 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM (approx. 9.5 hours per day). Requirements
- Possess GSCEs (or equivalent) qualifications.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all tasks.
- Experience in handling dangerous goods safely.
- Knowledge of demolition procedures and environmental compliance.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks effectively.
