This role is On-site, requiring regular presence at the company’s listed location. As a Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that support our global broadcasting efforts. You will work closely with a team of developers and other stakeholders to ensure that applications are reliable, efficient, and meet the needs of our audience. Your role will also involve troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising existing systems, contributing to the continuous improvement of our technology stack.

The standard working hours for this role are 09:00 AM – 05:00 AM (approx. 20 hours per day) as part of the morning shift system. This On-site role provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with your team and contribute to impactful projects within the newsroom environment.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Agile Software Development methodologies.
  • Experience with API Integration for seamless connectivity.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms and services.
  • Strong skills in Database Management and optimisation.

Desirable Skills

  • Demonstrate patience and empathy in collaborative settings.

Pay Preference

£1.00 - £250,000.00 / Year
